Une Maison Dans Les Arbres – Paris

When I visited the new boutique of Buly 1803 (see my blogpost about the Parfume House here) in Paris, I discovered this amazing flower boutique. Buly 1803 concept store opened their doors in the 3e arrondissement of Paris in collaboration with other small brands, like Une Maison Dans Les Arbres. The flowers are from Japan, and dried in a special way. The flowers are in great conditions and are very strong. I see them as a timeless gift which contains the exotic flowers of Japan. Also great as your wedding bouquet; the flowers will last for ever.

A yacht trip in Dubaï

This week I’m in Dubai, UAE, with Sakina Paris to capture her journey these days. This photoserie below is taken on a beautiful yacht on a sunny day. French television M6 is making a documentary about big weddings in the Middle-East and Sakina is making the dress for the bride. Together with the bride we went on this beautiful yacht to see Dubai from the water perspective. We had the loveliest time together. Also talented make-up artist Nora Kourkis joined us during these days in Dubai.

Roses in Palais Royal

When my sisters visited me for the weekend, we were running between rain showers to see the best spots of Paris. Palais Royal is always a lovely place to see because of it’s light architecture and flower garden. This time we were lucky enough to run into a rose garden. It was miraculously empty so it was only the three of us walking in this garden. It were the colours, the smell of the rain, the light and the roses that reminds me of my mother, who would have loved this place too. It also reminds me of this photo; Claude Monet in his garden.

Cannes

Arrived back home from the loveliest time in Cannes with Sakina Paris. She designed a dress for french actrice Hafsia Herzi for the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival. I’ve captured the behind the scenes of this weekend and can’t wait to share the results with you soon. Hereby the photos of Cannes.

Parisian winter walk

This was my first weekend alone in Paris since I moved here. I love to scroll down the Parisian streets and to photograph the beautiful city. It was a cold and grey day. Photographing the architecture is then great to do; no trees that will block the sight by their leaves. But these winter days are allright for just 1 weekend. I can’t wait for the spring to start; blossom trees and green plants growing. Also a blue sky would make the photos look more happier. Anyhow, I’m back to be in Paris.
